INTERnational Christian Education & Relief Society

(a)                Support charitable organizations and initiate projects that contribute to the physical, mental, artistic, educational and spiritual well being of the local and global communities.

 

(b)               Produce, promote and distribute electronic, paper, audio and visual publications and media to advance Christian teaching and understanding and particularly based on the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

 

(c)                Provide Bible studies and Bible-based and Christian publications, particularly based on the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in various languages, including English and Romanian.

 

(d)               Promote healthy living through health education and the provision of healthy eating alternatives.

 

(e)                Provide humanitarian services, including the provision of food, childcare, clothing, medical assistance and treatment and education, to assist the poor, students, those requiring medical assistance, orphans and the elderly.

 

(f)                 Support students who would otherwise be unable to afford the expenses of their Christian-based education.

 

(g)                Provide education in technology and internet usage to children, youth and the elderly to assist them in learning about Christianity, healthy living and medical care.

 

(h)                Provide education with respect to freedom of conscience and religion, freedom of expression and other fundamental human rights.

 

(i)                  Contribute to and support charitable organizations that carry out programs, projects or activities that, in the opinion of the directors of the Society, meet the purposes described in subparagraphs (a) through (h).

 

(j)                 To enter into agency or other arrangements for cooperation, joint venture or otherwise, with any other charitable entity, non-profit organization, society or national or international agencies carrying on or engaged in or about to carry on or engage in any activity capable of being conducted so as directly or indirectly to further the purposes of the Society.
